Earthy forest floor, autumnal underbrush and autumnal notes flow through this multi-layer and decadent wine. Chocolate, flowers, coco powder, black olive, black tea, mahogany, leather boots and caramel macaron-like silky palate. It appears extremely ‘old world’ in its disposition and you would be hard to pick this as Australian. Lots of life ahead for this already stunning cellar mature example.

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
