About the wine
Tasting notes
The colour is pale lemon green. The aroma is shy but intensely fresh, mainly of Chardonnay fruit, ripe nectarine with a hint of yeast cashew and oak spice. The aroma compels the need to taste, which amplifies the intensity and freshness but with refined fruit sweetness and texture. Finally, the cutting edge of acid and slight grapefruit finish of a wine has a finesse that is remarkable.

Creamy pale gold with a faint cyan reflection. Intense aromas of lemon blossom, verbena and white pepper are met with white stonefruit, charred lime, grapefruit, nashi pear, dried galangal and ocean spray. Gentle bacon, nougat and custard notes sit quietly behind it all. In the mouth it’s tightly packed and teases the palate with a creamy, citrus lined wave that drives long with confident flavours echoing the nose. Both seductive yet sharp with fresh acidity, crystalline minerality and tight phenolics that demand time and patience.
