The Toriihira district of Katsunuma town is greatly treasured by our fourth-generation owner, Shigekazu Misawa. This is hilly area with well-drained gravelly soil well-exposed to the sun and has long been revered as a production area producing the most concentrated grapes in Katsunuma.Grapes harvested in the Toriihira district are fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. The ripe tropical fruit aroma and full-bodied flavour are characteristics of the region.

About the wine
Tasting notes
Aromas of pear, stonefruit, apricot, gentle tropicals and Koshu's signature sweet nuttiness. On the palate, it’s unctuous and creamy, beautifully flavoured and charged with acidity that has a bounce to it. Delicate and charming.
