Nicolas' wines are scintillating, pure and expressive of their origin...not shy on flavor by any means, following many of the methods of his mentors and idols - the vertical press of Leroy, the farming and strenuous selection of DRC, and the naturally low-yielding crops of his old vineyards all serve to create wines with an unmistakable signature of quality. ***please note, this bottle has minor label damage and marks, hence the discounted price offer.

A very well-defined bouquet of raspberry, cranberry and tea leaf aromas, more loamy notes emerging with time. The palate is wonderful and delivers crisp tannins. Kind of "old school" Pinot Noir in some ways, thanks to the 100% stems, but fresh as a daisy and quite persistent on the saline finish. Superb.
