About the wine

Tasting notes

An elegant 100% Syrah matured for 22 months in barrels (15% new). This is a beautiful assemblage of 20 parcels, combining a range of terroirs, exposures and vine ages which add great complexity and depth to the wine. It's concentrated and opulent, packed with blue and black fruits, olives, cherries, smoke and violets with cracked black pepper and dense tannins. Drink 2031-2040.

Shiraz or Syrah

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
